Aviation & Aerospace Working Group (AAWG) Elections 2024-2026

The China-Italy Chamber of Commerce is now calling for candidates for the elections of one Coordinator and two Vice-Coordinators of the Aviation and Aerospace Working Group (AAWG).

The Working Group election meeting will be held on December 30th, 2024, at 4:00 pm (Beijing time) in digital format.

CANDIDACY PROCESS

We invite interested candidates to present their candidacy by filling in the form (available by clicking the link below) and sending it to elezioni2024@cameraitacina.com together with a scan of the residence permit and a short biography with a picture by December 13th at 18:00 (Beijing time).

Electronic voting instructions will be communicated upon candidates’ list publication.

According to the Working Groups’ General Rules, the elected Coordinator and Vice-Coordinators will stay in charge for two years, till December 2026. During the entire period of their mandate, they must be regularly subscribed as CICC Members for the year 2024/2025.

CICC Working Groups

The Working Groups bring together representatives of companies operating in the same sector or located in the same geographical area. The aim is to share information, resources, and ideas, organize relevant activities for the companies, and build sectorial expertise within the CICC to attract interest both in China and in Italy to benefit companies do not present on Chinese territory yet.

About Aviation and Aerospace Working Group (AAWG)

The AAWG represents the interest of all Italian companies in China working directly or indirectly in the aviation and aerospace sector on a national base. 

Members of this group will work on defining, updating, and participating in the Working Group Program to increase their knowledge and market share in the Chinese market. 

AAWG aims to study and analyze guidelines and policies of the Chinese central government regarding the civil aviation, general aviation, and aerospace industry; map and profile all of the Chinese aviation and aerospace players, manufacturers, and decision-makers that are shaping the future of the domestic aviation industry; understand the global and local competition (at both government and private level) to profile how the other countries are catching the opportunities; create and promote a brand/slogan to present the Italian companies in a unique and original way through a calendar of event and on-the-field activities.
