  The China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC) and its Mechanical Engineering Working Group (MEWG) kindly invite you to a webinar aimed at exploring different ways of cooperation between Tongji University and MEWG Members. The online event will take place on Tuesday, November 15th 2022, starting at 4:00 pm (Beijing time).   The meeting will focus on the MEWG’s cooperation with Tongji University, a major project that has long been in development. A representative from Tongji University will give an introduction of the School of Mechanical Engineering, Tongji University, followed by Carlo Nizia, MEWG coordinator and Risk Management at UFI FILTERS, who will present the cooperation proposal between the university and MEWG’s Members. This project represents an important opportunity to cement Italy’s recognition as one of the best manufacturing Countries in Europe and a global leader in many industrial sectors in a specific target population of present and future stakeholders. Working together with Tongji University will provide an excellent chance to promote Italian brands and technologies while sharing knowledge and connecting companies with qualified human resources. The cooperation between MEWG and Tongji will be based on two fundamental channels: academic cooperation & culture and information, with the objective to become a household name in Tongji and in the future have, career days, internships, trainings, and become references for the students going to Italy to complete the degree. The China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC) and its Energy and Environment Protection Working Group (EEPWG) in collaboration with the Embassy of Italy to the P.R.C. is glad to invite you to our upcoming online seminar “Soil Remediation: China-Italy Experience Sharing” on Monday, November 21st at 4:00 pm (Beijing Time).    TOPIC OVERVIEW In recent years, China and Italy have been addressing the issue of the remediation of contaminated sites. In China, major cities are facing soil contamination problems related to industrial parks. In recent years, those parks are progressively delocalized with more sustainable technologies.  Italy is encountering the same problems.  After WW2, the strong industrialization process led to the establishment of large parks in the chemistry, oil, and iron industry, causing historical soil contamination in the major cities. In this scenario, is it possible to find common ground for new cooperation between China and Italy at the technical, business, and scientific levels?   The webinar aims to present the best practices developed by Chinese and Italian companies in the census, securing, and remediation of contaminated sites with specific reference to solutions for industrial parks. The China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC) together with the Embassy of Italy to the P.R.C. and our Intellectual Property Working Group (IPWG) is glad to invite you to join the two-day online event “IP Protection Days: China Marketplaces” on October 12th-13th from 4:00 to 5:30 pm (Beijing Time).  The event is supported by the Italian Trade Agency (ITA) and Confindustria.    OVERVIEW During the two sessions, company representatives and IP experts will train companies and individuals on IP Protection in the China Marketplaces. Session I: A Roundtable on the most frequent cases of IP infringement in the marketplaces and how to use new technologies to monitor IP infringements. We will discuss when the marketplace/platform is liable for IP infringements by vendors and share experiences on managing and protecting the IP in the marketplaces.
