POST EVENT: Industrial and Manufacturing Sectors Insights and Networking, Shanghai May 27, 2020

Dear Members and Friends,

The China-Italy Chamber of Commerce, in cooperation with the Canadian Chamber of Commerce and the British Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai, is delighted to announce that the event focused on Opportunities on the Road to Recovery: Industrial and Manufacturing Sectors Insights and Networking was held on May 27th, 2020  at Curfew in Shanghai.

The event was moderated by Matt Whately, Deputy Director of CanCham in Shanghai, who introduced Mathieu Cormier, Executive Director of CanCham in Shanghai for welcome greetings and Lorenzo Riccardi, CICC Treasurer who gave a warm welcome to all the participants, highlighting the importance of activities organized by the CICC in cooperation with the other Chambers of Commerce. 

The panel discussion has been carried out by the following panelists: 

• Olivier Brault, General Manager at SOPREMA Asia Pacific, which offers a comprehensive line of roofing, waterproofing, wall protection and civil engineering solutions combining superior products and systems with decades of proven performance. He opened the event with the topic "2020 outlook on industrial and manufacturing project perspectives in China".
• Christophe Malergue, Managing Director at GSE, a global player in corporate real-estate which ensures design, construction and renovation. He held the speech "Challenges faced with project timelines and budgets and how they are being overcome".
• Bowen Miao, General Manager at CBRE Hangzhou, which offers a broad range of integrated services, including facilities, transaction and project management, property management and investment management. He spoke about "Strategies and opportunities to currently seize in the sector".

The event was followed by a Q&A session. 

At last, the lucky draw, sponsored by Ray Fine Wine and the networking cocktail, concluded the event and permitted to all the participants to further interact with the guests and panelists and to share their observations.
