POST EVENT- Webinar: "Development opportunities for Italian companies in China: Italian excellencies as a starting point for recovery"

The Embassy of Italy to the P.R.C., the Consulate General of Italy in Shanghai and the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce jointly organized an informative webinar for the Italian business community in China, held on June 8th, 2020.

The purpose of the event was to provide an overview about the sentiment of a sample of Italian companies located in China in response to the impact that the COVID-19 pandemic had on them and to identify potential future business opportunities in their sectors.

The first part of the webinar involved the representatives of the Italian institutions active on Chinese territory to provide an update on the political-institutional actions and the available tools/services in favor of the companies. The event was opened by the Ambassador of Italy to the P.R.C., Luca Ferrari, followed by the Director for Coordination of Made in Italy Promotion of the ITA-ICE Agency, Dr. Maria Ines Aronadio and Dr. Marco Ferioli, Head of SACE & APAC Region.

In the second part of the webinar, companies were given the floor. Starting from the sectors most represented in the Italian business community in China, such as supply chain components, automotive and mechanical, energy, pharmaceutical, agri-food, lifestyle & fashion, the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce Chairman, Paolo Bazzoni moderated the dialogue between representatives of the following companies:
